Employment Futures

Understand What’s Changing. Shape What Comes Next.

Employment Futures brings research, workforce intelligence, and practical innovation together to help individuals and organizations anticipate change, navigate uncertainty, and prepare for the future of work.

About the Founder

Rebekah Kowalski founded Employment Futures after more than two decades working at the intersection of global workforce strategy, business transformation, and the changing nature of employment.

Her experience has given her a unique perspective on the forces re-shaping work, the challenges facing employers and individuals, and the gaps in how the employment ecosystem anticipates and responds to change.

She founded Employment Futures on a simple conviction: people should not have to wait for disruption to understand what’s changing or discover what they can do about it. Better information, earlier insight, and greater individual agency can help create a more resilient and human-centered future of work.

Long-terperspective

Our Philosophy

The future of work should not simply happen to people

Every technological advance, economic transition, and shift in labor demand has human consequences. Behind every workforce statistic is an individual with capabilities, aspirations, responsibilities, and a future worth protecting.

We believe that access to meaningful information creates agency. When people understand how work is changing, recognize the value they bring, and see the options available to them, they are better positioned to make decisions about their futures.

We call this Career Stewardship.

Just as financial stewardship requires ongoing attention and informed choices, career stewardship is a continuous practice of understanding change, assessing one’s position, and taking purposeful action.

You are the only person who remains with your career for its entire duration. But that doesn’t mean you should have to navigate it without reliable information.

Employment Futures exists to help make that information accessible, understandable, and useful. We believe the future of work should be shaped not only by the demands of the economy, but also by the potential of the people within it.
